The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gong, also known as a Feng or Sun Gong, is traditionally handcrafted in China from a special bronze alloy. Its near-flat design allows for an expansive tonal range, producing rich, deep sounds that evolve into cascading wave-like overtones.

The engraved Kun symbol represents the earth, the divine feminine, and the grounding forces of nature. As one of the eight Chinese trigrams, it embodies receptivity, balance, and stability.

Each Wind Gong includes a traditional beater and a protective cover, making it an excellent tool for meditation, sound healing, and spiritual practice.
