The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gong, also known as a Feng or Sun Gong, is traditionally handcrafted in China from a special bronze alloy. Its near-flat shape allows for a broad tonal range, producing deep, resonant tones that transition into rich wave-like overtones.

Engraved with the Kun symbol, this gong embodies grounding energy, the divine feminine, and the nurturing forces of the earth. As one of the eight Chinese trigrams, Kun symbolizes receptivity, balance, and harmony.

Each Wind Gong includes a traditional beater and a protective cover, making it an essential tool for meditation, sound therapy, and energy healing practices.
