The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gong, also referred to as a Feng or Sun Gong, is traditionally handcrafted in China using a special bronze alloy. Its nearly flat structure allows for fully open sound production, resulting in a broad tonal spectrum with rich, wave-like overtones.

Engraved with the Kun symbol, this gong embodies stability, grounding energy, and feminine power in Taoist philosophy. Kun is one of the eight Chinese trigrams, symbolizing receptivity and the deep connection between earth and energy work.

Designed for sound baths, meditation, and therapeutic applications, this Wind Gong comes with a traditional beater and a protective cover to preserve its hand-hammered craftsmanship.
